Maya Shanbhag Lang is the author of What We Carry, named to several “Best Of” and Editors’ lists, from The New York Times and Amazon to “Good Morning America” and PopSugar. She is also the author of The Sixteenth of June, a modern reinterpretation of James Joyce’s Ulysses that was long listed for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and lives in Westchester, New York.
