Maya Shanbhag Lang is the author of What We Carry, which made several “Best Of” and Editors’ lists, from The New York Times and Amazon to “Good Morning America” and PopSugar. She is also the author of The Sixteenth of June, a modern reinterpretation of James Joyce’s Ulysses, long listed for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize.
The American Civil Rights Museum named Lang a “Woman You Should Know.” Lang currently serves as President of the Authors Guild.
